Welcome Paul or PK, co-founder and head of creative at Fovi, approaches his work with a blend of humour, creativity, and genuine passion. He’s proud to be doing what he loves and finds joy in shaping a brand that truly matters.

What does Fovi mean to you?

Fovi means everything to me and more. It’s not just about fulfilling my lifelong dream of owning a clothing brand; it’s about creating one with a rich ethical foundation. Fovi isn’t just about garments that look and feel amazing; it’s about ensuring each piece has a meaningful and sustainable journey.

What do you love about Fovi?

One of the things I truly love about Fovi is its authenticity. So much care has gone into building an honest and thoughtful brand with a compelling backstory. Everyone involved with Fovi shares its ethos—we genuinely care about the wellbeing of the brand and what it stands for.

What’s your favourite item from the Blackout Collection?

It has to be the Blackout Sweatshirt Dress, which is currently on pre-order. It really embodies the spirit of the Blackout Collection. It’s so versatile—you can dress it up or down—and it has a sporty edge that I personally love.

What’s your favourite film of all time?

You can’t ask me that! 😄 I like different films for different reasons. If I had to give you a top five (in no particular order), they’d be Kes, Back to the Future, Midnight Express, The Goonies, and The Prestige.

What makes your day?

Waking up happy and going to bed happy—or at least ending the day feeling fulfilled and grateful. Some days can be tough, but it’s important to remember that challenges come and go. They don’t define your day or your life.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

I’ve been fortunate enough to experience some incredible adventures. In 2010, I did a 5,024-mile road trip from New York to San Francisco over 21 days with my two best mates. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe I actually did that! In 2014, I spent five days in the jungles of Borneo with the amazing orangutans—an experience that truly changed my perspective.

On a work level, in 2015, I left a well-paid job to chase my dream of running my own business. It’s been a journey full of sacrifices, but it’s hands down the best decision I’ve ever made.

What’s your go-to drink on a night out?

I haven’t touched lager in over 20 years! My usual choice is a dark fruit cider or gin and tonic.

What makes your heart full?

Being with my family, especially my three nieces and three nephews. I like to think I’ve played a a fairly big role in their lives. They do like to ‘rinse’ me from time to time, but they’re worth every penny!

What’s the funniest thing you’ve done when no one was watching?

On a flight to South Korea, I found myself crying with laughter at a video of someone getting tipped over in a portaloo. It’s definitely my dark sense of humour kicking in—most people probably wouldn’t find it funny but it really made me giggle.

What’s your favourite motto in life?

I’ll shout this from the rooftops with this one: “Happiness always comes from within.” How we feel and navigate life is entirely up to us. No one else should have the power to define our happiness.
